Organized by the Resource Environmental Center (REC BiH) a consultative meeting dedicated to strengthening the capacities of civil society organizations working in the field of environmental protection was held in Sarajevo on March 24, 2026.
During the meeting, participants reviewed progress in grant implementation, discussed key issues and challenges in carrying out project activities, and exchanged experiences in addressing concrete challenges in the field. Special attention was given to defining topics for upcoming trainings and the mentoring program, with the aim of strengthening organizational capacities in activity planning, project management, financial and narrative reporting, and effective communication with project teams and donors.
The discussion enabled the identification of specific needs for additional knowledge and skills, with an emphasis on applying what has been learned in practice, ensuring higher quality project implementation, and improving the overall effectiveness of civil society organizations in environmental protection.
