MEMBERSHIP IN ORGANIZATIONS AND NETWORKS

GREEN FORUM

GREEN FORUM is a network of environmental CSOs in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Secretariat of the Green Forum is headed by the REC – Resource Environmental Center. The goals of the network are to influence the creation and implementation of environmental and nature conservation policies in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to create a permanent platform for cooperation. The methods used to achieve the goals of the network are:

public advocacy;
launching and coordinating joint campaigns, actions and projects;
informing, educating and encouraging the public to participate in the decision-making process;
strengthening the capacity of citizens’ associations for environmental protection, strengthening their skills, human resources, technical infrastructure and impact at the national and regional level.

Global Waste Cleaning Network

REC is a full-fledged member of the Global Waste Cleaning Network (GWCN). GWCN is an organization based in England, focused on environmental protection and green energy – the topics that are of tremendous importance to all inhabitants of the planet. GWCN is a platform for and successful network of environmental and energy companies, non-governmental organizations, and institutions, both private and public, that are actively involved in environmental issues, advocating for reduction of carbon dioxide levels in the environment and waste management of all kinds – solid, liquid, and gaseous waste that adversely affects human life, flora, fauna, and ecosystems.
